The continuous casting tundish is a very important metallurgical reactor in production. flow characteristics of tundishes are usually evaluated by residence time distribution (RTD) curves. At present, the analysis model RTD curves still has limitations. In this study, we reviewed curve models single and multi-flow tundish. We compared mixing modified combination for same time, multi-strand were analyzed. Based on obtained from water experiment, applicability various discussed, providing reference selection models.
